Requirements
Q: Do I need to be member of any National or International organization to register to AWC?
A: No. AWC does not require such membership. Organizers can have their own requirements.
Q: Do I need to have demonstrated an adequate level in aerobatics before registering to AWC?
A: Yes. AWC will check your personal experience and reserves the right to refuse registration to any under experienced pilot. Moreover, admission to any accredited championship is the responsibility of the organizer of the championship.

Q: What are the registration fees and what do they cover?
A: The registration fees will be announced during registration, for individual pilots and teams. What is
specifically included in the fees is subject to change, depending on the calendar and locations.

Q: In addition to the AWC entry fee, do I need to pay for entry to each championship?
A: Yes. In 2025, AWC will require a separate registration fee in addition to the entry fees of the championships.

Q: I am part of a team and therefore I participate to AWC as an individual and as a member of a team. Should I pay the registration fee as an individual in addition to the registration fee of my team?
A: Yes. Individual entry and team entry are subject to two separate fees.

Q: We are a team but not all of us can participate to the same competitions at the same time. Will our results still be valid for AWC ranking?
A: Yes. As a team, you do not need to actually fly the same competitions at the same time. But each individual pilot of the team will still have to meet the requirements of AWC and fly at least 2 competitions during the year.

Q: I have a sponsor and I want to name my team upon the sponsor’s brand. Is it possible?
A: Yes.

Q: I want to team up with pilots from another country. Is it possible to form an international team?
A: Yes.
Ranking
Q: I ranked second at a competition but the first place was taken by a pilot who had not registered to AWC. Do I still get the maximum number of points?
A: No. You will only get 8 points if the competition had more than 5 participants, or 6 points if the competition had 5 participants or less.
Q: I took part in a competition before registering to AWC. Will I earn points for this competition?
A: No. But you will still be able to get points at the next competition, after you register.
Q: I want to participate to AWC this year and next year also. Will I keep the points I have earned this year for the ranking of next year?
A: No, you will start again next year from 0 points but your standing points of this year will affect the calculation of the points of all pilots who rank better than you in next year’s competition. In other words, there will be a bonus for ranking better that pilots who already earned points during the previous year.
